Our automated white light scanning system:

Can capture 180 degrees in less than 4 seconds.
Has 2 heads resulting in 2 scans for each pass.
Scanner heads are mounted on a linear rail with 48 inch travel and 45 degree tilt.
Can capture a full body of a human of average height in less then 5 minutes.
Is integrated with a rotary table that turns the subject to capture 360 degrees.
Has proprietary automation software that links the CAM software (Mach3) with scanning software(Flexscan 3D).
Software automatically creates and aligns the meshes.
Produces high rsolution single color 3D meshes.
It is equally effective with scanning objects.

3D scanning service:

People: Facial, half body or full body scans for art or medical purposes. The scans can be used to 3D print statues, create avatars or digial animation, renderings for plastic surgery, basis for prosthetics, casts or other custom fit applications such as masks.
Objects: Any non reflective object that can fit on our rotary table can be scanned. These scans can be used to 3d print or model / 3d design and manufacture parts.

Important factors in scanning people:

Hair: Dark hair will not scan well. Corn starch is applied to dark hair and comes off hair relatively easily.
Clothing: Dark (black or navy) clothing will not scan well and stripes or bright designs produce undesireable results. Plain (non shiny)clothing produces the best results.
Reflective: Glasses, jewelry and watches will not pick up well and should be avoided. Shiny make up and lipstick should also be avoided.
Movement: Even slight movement can ruin a scan. Establish a comfortable postion that can be held for the duration of the scan
